Azure AI Architect (Generative AI) Remote 3 to 6-month contract to hire Job ID 24-09131 Solugenix is assisting a client, in their search for an Azure AI Architect (Generative AI). This is a 3 to 6-month contract to hire opportunity. As an Azure AI Architect, you will be at the forefront of designing and implementing cutting-edge AI solutions on the Azure platform. Your role will involve close collaboration with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, and design and develop scalable AI solutions that integrate seamlessly into existing applications. This position demands a high level of technical expertise in several key Azure AI services and will present you to the organization as: An in-house expert for all things AI, especially with Generative AI and prompt engineering. An expert and developing expert in how and why to implement AI solutions within our product roadmap with the "why” being of equal or greater importance for long-term viability. The SME who offers and implements techniques to test AI solutions, and evaluate responses for accuracy, groundedness, and tone and the person with vast experience in Azure AI Search, prompt stuffing, and RAG. Qualifications: Minimum requirements of 5 years' experience as a software engineer, a bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field. Proficiency in programming languages such as C# and Python. Experience in designing and implementing AI solutions on the Azure platform. Strong understanding of Azure AI services, including Azure OpenAI, AI Search, and Document Intelligence. Demonstrated expertise in prompt engineering to effectively design and optimize prompts. Exposure or experience in fine-tuning and hosting custom models. Experience with Retrieval Automated Generation (RAG) techniques. Hands-on experience with provisioning and management of Azure cloud resources. Experience with machine learning is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to development teams as well as non-technical stakeholders. Responsibilities: Develop AI solutions leveraging Azure AI services, including Azure AI Services such as Azure OpenAI, AI Search, and Document Intelligence. Work with development teams to engineer larger-scale UI-based chatbot or agent applications, using Azure OpenAI SDKs with Semantic Kernel. Utilize prompt flow for prototyping, iterating, and evaluating AI solutions. Engineer pipelines for data or file ingestion, used for contextual search and/or model training. Optimize AI resources for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency on the Azure platform. Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate deployment pipelines and ensure smooth integration of AI solutions into production environments. Stay current with emerging trends and best practices in AI and evaluate them for use to enhance our solutions. Instruct and mentor team members on best practices and advanced techniques, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence. Pay Range for CA, CO, IL, NJ, NY, WA, and DC: $80/hour to $90/hour. Starting rate of pay offered may vary depending on factors including but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training and/or experience.
