AriensCo is on the hunt for a dynamic Business Development Manager to ignite new equipment sales by crafting and executing a powerful strategy aimed at national, regional, and local lawn maintenance contractors and government agencies. This thrilling opportunity oversees the Georgia, Florida, North Carolina and South Carolina markets.THE DAY TO DAY...Drive new equipment sales opportunities withnational, regional and local lawn maintenance contractors and government agencies by formulating and executing a focused strategy

Develop and manage a process for new customerprospecting; develop business relationships, ultimately scheduling appointmentsand closing sales

Use comprehensive knowledge of the LSC market and keytarget accounts to approach the decision-makers and understand the buyingprocess in a defined regional area

Manage business results by leveraging existingaccounts and developing new proposals; identify and know key targets within the region; lead development and servicing of national accounts

Communicate and coordinate between designatedlandscape and lawn care organizations, government agencies and all necessary Ariens functions

Develop a successful program and educate DMs andDealers on how to approach, sell and follow up with a local supply chain client

Prepareweekly activity reports of business transactions, update competitive activity and provide feedback for product enhancements or new product development

Manage activities within the expense budget

Attend various trade and landscape shows intending tonetwork and meet key clients

THE QUALIFICATIONS...Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in landscaping, golf course management or other related industry or field

Business development background in strategy development and execution

Competencein the use of common office software - Microsoft Office programs: Excel,Word, PowerPoint and Outlook

Broad experience across diverse aspects of the green industry including lawn care, landscape management, arbor care, irrigation management, and landscape design- build operations desired

Familiarity with the national marketplace; direct knowledge of, and relationships with local supply chain contractors or government agencies preferred

Skilled in developing and delivering quality presentations a plus

Use of Microsoft Dynamic CRM

Must be willing and able to do regional driving up to 50%
