All Creatures Pet Hospital is actively seeking an organized, compassionate, and service-oriented Credentialed Veterinary Technician who is confident in rooming patients, assisting in surgery, placing IV catheters, drawing blood and running bloodwork, experienced in properly handling and restraining animals, knowledge of x-ray and positioning, understands the importance of client education, able to confidently dispense and administer medication prescribed by the veterinarian, and is a positive and supportive team member. The veterinary industry is constantly advancing and we encourage our staff to do the same. If you are an experienced credentialed veterinary technician looking to take your skills and knowledge to the next level and work with a great motivated team we are excited to hear from you.
Requirements:
Certified Veterinary Technician,
license must be current in the state of Alabama3+ years of prior veterinary experienceKnowledge of industry tools and equipmentConfidently and comfortably restrain animalsKnowledge of surgical prep, monitoring, and recoveryCompassionate and caring toward our clients and their petsMust be able to lift over 50 pounds.Multi-task efficientlyUnderstand the importance of client educationBe a positive and supportive team member
