See Professorial Series (Adjunct, Clinical X, HS Clinical, In Residence, Ladder Rank) and Professor of Teaching Series - Health Sciences Compensation Plan. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan, which provides for eligibility for additional compensation.

Position description
The University of California, Irvine, Department of Pediatrics is seeking a pediatric medical specialist in the area of neurodevelopment or behavioral disorders to join The Center for Autism & Neurodevelopmental Disorders (CAND), with expertise in caring for children with autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, and other developmental disorders.
The successful candidate must be board certified or eligible in developmental-behavioral or neurodevelopmental disorders, with strong commitment to patient care, education, research, and community engagement. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing clinical service and quality management, scholarly work, teaching/training, community outreach and encouraged to participate in clinical research. Providers who want to join our multidisciplinary team will make a significant difference in the lives of children and families.
Since opening in 2001 as 4OC Kids, the division of developmental-behavioral pediatrics at UCI has been a a leader in medical assessment, diagnosis, care coordination, family support and education for children with autism and other developmental disorders focusing on children birth through age 5 years. In 2012, through a collaborative effort of UC Irvine, CHOC Children's and Chapman University, CAND was founded to expand the scope of care to include a multidisciplinary team of specialists offering evaluation and treatment of patients ranging from birth to age 22 years. CAND faculty work close with the UCI fellowship program in child and adolescent psychiatry, the UCI residency program in family medicine, and the CHOC-UCI general pediatrics residency program to train up the next generation of health providers in the often complex care of individuals with neurodevelopmental conditions. CAND also has longstanding close ties to families and the community to provide resources, empowerment, and address disparities in health care for underserved populations.
The Center for Autism & Neurodevelopmental Disorders is located in the city of Irvine, California, and part of the UCI Health-Irvine medical complex, which includes the Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center & Ambulatory Care as well as the new Acute Care Hospital
