Job Description & Requirements Sonographer - Diagnostic - (Sonography - Sono) StartDate: 10/7/2024 Available Shifts: 10 D Pay Rate: $1708.86 - $1968.91 Ultrasound Tech needed asap Shift: 4x10's Tue - Fri 7-5:30 On-Call required: yes Includes calls after hours and weekends. Credentials required: RDMS or ARRT Specific unit requirements: BLS, Registered, and NM License 2 years experience Float to other units: no The Ultrasound Technician is a graduate of an accredited AMA school and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT), maintains a State License as a general radiographer, and/or is a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS). The Ultrasound Technician is responsible for providing timely diagnostic services to both inpatient and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: abdominal, pelvic, (gynecological & obstetrical), and transvaginal sonograms. Additionally is proficient at scanning small parts (thyroid, breast & scrotom) along with ultrasound-guided biopsies, drainage, thoracentesis, paracentesis and aspirations.
