Summary:

TPI is the world's leading educational organization dedicated to the study of how the human body functions in relation to the golf swing. We are looking for a leader who can help drive the TPI business through new digitally based channels and leverage the unrivaled ability of Titleist to connect with dedicated golfers. Since its inception in 2003, TPI has studied thousands of golfers ranging from the top professional Tour players to weekend enthusiasts. An incredible amount of data on players of all shapes, sizes, ages, and fitness levels has been gathered during this time. Using this data, TPI discovered how a properly functioning body allows a player to swing a golf club in the most efficient way possible. TPI’s mission is to educate golfers and industry professionals on the Body-Swing Connection through its one of a kind TPI Certified educational program. This program was developed by founders Dr. Greg Rose and Dave Phillips along with a 52-member advisory staff of industry leading experts. Currently, there are over 19,000 TPI Certified professionals in 63 countries assisting players of all skill levels. We are now ready to develop and launch a Direct-to-Consumer business model for TPI services and are looking for a leader to manage that development, launch the business, and then drive the DTC TPI business for years to follow.

Responsibilities:

MVP Definition and Development (Phase 1): Work with TPI co-founders, key Acushnet stakeholders and outside consultants to define TPI’s Minimum Viable Product for a Direct-to-Consumer business. Work with the internal IT team as well as consultants to define the technical resources, platforms, etc required to launch and run the TPI DTC business app. Lead the team through the development process to make the MVP reality and to launch the business. Hire and lead the team required to run the TPI DTC business post launch.

Strategy Development and Execution (Launch the Business) (Phase 1): Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy to launch the initial app, and to drive growth for TPI digital subscription services. Analyze market trends, customer data, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and threats. Develop shared vision of future iterations of both the app, and of potential broadening areas for TPI DTC. Oversee initiatives aimed at improving customer engagement, retention, and satisfaction. Develop and execute personalized strategies to enhance the user experience and drive subscriber success.

Product Management (phase 2): Collaborate with product development teams to refine all facets of the app including the AI driven fitness algorithms, the look and feel of the app, branding throughout the app, the subscription business model, the scope of products and services offered, marketing, and customer service. Utilize customer feedback and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement in product features and user interface.

Marketing (phase 2): Lead the development and execution of marketing campaigns to drive awareness and attract subscribers. Employ data-driven approaches to optimize marketing spend.

Data Analysis and Reporting (phase 2): Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of the products and services offered through the app as well as overall customer satisfaction. Provide regular reports and insights to senior management on product performance, product evolution, subscription performance, customer behavior, and market trends.

Customer Engagement and Community Building (phase 2): Develop and nurture a strong community of golf enthusiasts through engaging content, events, and interactive features. Foster relationships with key stakeholders, including golf professionals, influencers, and industry partners.

Team Leadership and Collaboration: Collaborate cross-functionally with external partners, technology marketing, sales, and customer support teams to ensure cohesive execution of strategies.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in business or marketing. MBA preferred.

10-15 years of progressive business experience. Business Management (P/L responsibilities) experience. Experience leading early-stage business definition & creation. Go to market experience. Brand management (or similar) experience.

Preferred Experience: Golf industry, Service as a product, working on tech development projects/Agile scrum technology.

Compensation:

Base $200k-$230k: annual bonus; LTI; full benefits; golf membership; wellness program
