Intermediate Telecommunications Specialist 3.9.1 The Intermediate Telecommunications Specialist shall provide installation and operational support of voice and data communications hardware and software systems. 3.9.2 The Intermediate Telecommunications Specialist shall design, develop, implement, test, debug, and maintain communications systems. 3.9.3 The Intermediate Telecommunications Specialist shall perform configuration of operating system and security patches for host and distributed systems and implements incident response procedures during incidents of a network or host security breach. 3.9.4 The Intermediate Telecommunications Specialist shall comply with prescribed customer, industry and agency standards.As a dynamic systems integrator, SMS offers proven solutions in engineering, operations, cybersecurity, and digital transformation. Performs all infrastructure support for the program to include cabling, infrastructure, patch panels, racks, cable ladders, etc.

Performs installation, maintenance and repair of work/Computer/Telecommunications infrastructure.Installs, maintains and repairs voice, data and wireless communications systems.Maintains telecommunications equipment and installs, rearranges and removes equipment and associated wiring.Interprets service orders, circuit diagrams, and electrical schematics.Tests, locates, and repairs equipment problems associated with trouble calls, and performs routine maintenance.Verifies work order information and receipt of all necessary equipment and information.Qualifications
