We are currently searching for an

Information Systems Security Officer

with 6+ years of direct experience with collection systems and/or related components within the IC.

The ideal candidate will provide support by advising the Government on overall System Security configurations within. Maintain Certification and Accreditation documentation for the Program and conduct periodic reviews to ensure compliance. Support teams charged with the design, development, maintenance, and improvements to software and applications. Serve as key advisor for developing systems that comply with the most recent system security policies to promote successful achievement of interim and full authorities to operate systems for testing and ultimately for full operation. Maintain awareness of the most recent system security policies and directives. Be required to work closely with project managers and other engineering teams in evaluating current systems and recommending decisions on future development. Be required to assist Systems Engineers and ISSEs with the analysis of user and system requirements and constraints. Be required to determine if systems comply with policies and constraints. Provide assistance to testers and support personnel as needed to determine and resolve system problems. Be required to develop technical security documentation including items needed to develop a complete System Security Plan (SSP). Be required to provide technical support to system integration efforts in the lab and during field installations. Ensure that physical and operational procedures do not compromise IS security or negate its certification and accreditation. Responsible for supporting all hardware and software security for. Maintain records outlining required patches/system upgrades that have been accomplished throughout the IS's life cycle.

Self-Starter, capable of working independently with little or no supervisionExperience in SIGINT system development or integrationComputer operating system experience with LINUX-based platformsComputer operating system experience with Windows-based platformsComputer networking experienceExperience with configuring routers, firewalls and other network appliances to meet functional and security constraintsExperience developing technical documentation for SSPs and successfully leading systems through achieving approvals for testing and operation (e.g. Interim Authority to Test (IATT),Interim Authority to Operate (IATO), Authority to Operate ATO))Diverse experience in the SIGINT field, consisting of:An understanding in network administration, network topologies, basic secure communications, network devices, network protocols, and network layersKnowledge of the latest developments in current Information Systems Security strategies and be familiar with the services Information System Security policiesTechnical Skills Required:

Computer/system security engineeringAnalyzing system specifications and translating to software requirementsBasic understand of commercial standards-based RF communications functionalityComputer/system security engineeringExperience in SIGINT system development or integrationComputer operating system experience with LINUX-based platformsComputer operating system experience with Windows-based platformsExperience with configuring routers, firewalls and other network appliances to meet functional and security constraintsExperience developing technical documentation tor SSPs and successfully leading systems through achieving approvals for testing and operation (e.g. Interim Authority toTest (IATT), Interim Authority to Operate (IATO), Authority to Operate (ATO)Minimum Experience Required:

Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or other related field of applied science with 3 to 6 years of experience or 6 to 11 years of direct experience with collection systems and/or related components within the IC.Diverse experience in the SIGINT field, consisting of: 1) An understanding in network administration, network topologies, basic secure communications, network devices, network protocols, and network layers 2) Knowledge of the latest developments in current Information Systems Security strategies and be familiar with the servicesInformation System Security policiesTS/SCI with Polygraph Required
