The Quality Center of Excellence is the hub for complex software development teams, sitting at the cross between engineering, product management, design, and analytics. Our goal is to create an environment that accelerates high quality software development for over 1,000+ engineers through tools, best practices, and a culture of quality.The Consumer Group Quality Center of Excellence is looking for a quality assurance expert to join our team as a Sr. Quality Analyst. The Sr. Quality Analyst will work closely with the Product Development teams to coach and embed Quality best practices. This role requires a professional with a keen eye for details who can work resourcefully and efficiently to assure quality of programs, software and systems. In addition, knowledge of industry standard quality tooling is required. The Senior SQA Analyst is responsible for generating test plans that ensure the traceability of requirements, keeping tabs on abnormal conditions in environments, addressing escalated issues, aiding in the tracking of metrics and monitoring the testing coverage of defect queues.What you'll bring5-7 years’ experience in software developmentStrong leadership experienceBS in accounting, computer science or equivalent work experienceDetailed documentation of defects found during test executionReporting of test execution resultsFacilitate quality analysis of their product areaRecommend Product improvementsAnalyze functional requirementsDemonstrated track record of effective problem-solving requiredStrong oral and verbal communication skills requiredExpertise in test design, test plan and test case creation/executionAnalysis of specifications, inclusive of supportability, usability, and testabilityContributions into Automation Framework RequirementsGenerate recommendations and advocacy for Quality best practicesUse Data in Root Cause Analysis and regression requirements for customer facing defectsSolid understanding of SDLC, especially Agile, and experience in leading a team throughout the entire SDLCDefine test strategies and implementation, analyze new product testability and deliver test solutions to support the new product offeringContinuously improve processes by introducing test processes, monitoring functional test yield, and taking corrective actionsExcellent oral and verbal communication skills required to facilitate interactions with development teams, leaders and business units across IntuitHow you will leadApplies defined practices and procedures, and domain knowledge to design, influence, and drive quality and testability of products and servicesAssignments are within a limited scope, covering a moderate range of technologies and level of complexityExercises judgment in application of methods and procedures to ensure quality products and servicesBuilds productive internal and external relationships that are essential to delivering quality products and servicesWorks independently, with general instructions on assignmentsLeads Quality activities/process improvements within a project or teamEOE AA M/F/Vet/Disability.
