Some of our other perks include: hybrid work schedule, professional denim dress-code policy, 401k w/ company contribution, paid holidays and much more!ResponsibilitiesDuties may include, but are not limited to, the following:Plan, supervise, and complete routine engagements, including reviewing engagement work papers, resolving problems, and keeping the director informed of all important developmentsSupervise Associates and Senior Associates, provide feedback to them and evaluate their career developmentLead and coordinate with team members to work jointly on tax engagementsBecome a trusted point person in their assigned areas and specialtiesManage and oversee all aspects of tax compliance and planning for clients including recognizing opportunities to provide additional services to existing clientsOversee the preparation and filing of all tax returns, including federal, state, and local taxesDevelop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize tax liability and maximize tax benefits for clientsReview and analyze financial statements to identify tax issues and opportunitiesDemonstrates proficiency and consistency in applied research skills on various tax engagementsDevelop and maintain relationships with external tax advisors and government agenciesRequirementsBachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master’s Degree preferredCPA or EA required6+ years of experience in public accountingEstate, Gift and Trust and international tax planning experience preferredEfficiency in Excel and research-based softwareSkilled communicator, both verbally and written, ensuring confidentiality with Corrigan Krause employees and stakeholdersAbility to take and pass a background checkWork flexible hours as neededSalary Range, based on experience: $110,000-$140,000People are at the core of everything we do at Corrigan Krause.
