We are hiring a founding designer in San Francisco. This is an in-person role, and our office is in San Francisco's Financial District.

We are building the next generation of database replication for companies that process a lot of data and require low latency and reliable syncs. We help power business use cases such as risk scoring, transaction monitoring, customer-facing analytical dashboards, and more.

We have raised from top investors like Exponent Founders Capital, General Catalyst, and founders of Dropbox and Mode. We are on a high-growth trajectory and are looking for folks that have high agency, craft, and want to ship quickly to join us in building a billion-dollar company.

Roles and ResponsibilitiesAs our founding designer, you will define and drive the future of design at Artie. You will own our design and brand end-to-end and work closely with our team on various initiatives across marketing, sales, and engineering.

Some responsibilities you will take on in the first few months include:Fully own and improve our marketing site (hosted on Webflow).Improve our messaging and add custom landing pages based on specific use cases and industries.Help create marketing material for campaigns, events, and conferences.Iterate on product dashboard design with our engineering team to strike a balance between functionality and usability.

Type of Person We’re Looking ForStrong communicator – As an early-stage startup, there will be lots of changes and ambiguity in the beginning. You are comfortable sharing feedback early and often.Customer-focused – You can think through the lens of our customers, understand their job to be done, and deliver intuitive and visually appealing designs.Experience designing fast-growing B2B software products – You have worked on some of the world's best teams, where you needed to ship fast and iterate quickly. Bonus if you've worked on Infrastructure or Dev Tools for enterprises.
