Royalty Analyst I
needed for a contract opportunity with our well-known client in the gaming and entertainment industry located in California.12 months initial contract with possibility of extensionPay rate from $41-$50 hourlyHybrid - San Mateo, California once a week or as neededMust have the legal right to work in the United States (client is unable to do sponsorship or Corp to Corp)Key Responsibilities
Efficiently handle and summarize publishers' inquiries related to royalty payments and statements. Act as a primary point of contact for such queries, ensuring that they are addressed timely by the subject matter experts while also supporting research where possible.Work closely with Royalty Accountants and other finance personnel to provide accurate and timely responses to PHC tickets. Facilitate effective communication between departments to ensure that the ticket resolution is handled seamlessly.Provide clear and concise explanations to publishers and internal teams.Oversee the daily ticket requests and manage the help center's ticketing system. Ensure that all tickets are tracked, monitored, and resolved within SLA targets.Prepare regular reports on PHC KPI’s, including analysis of the types of inquiries received to identify trouble areas.Provide recommendations to improve Finance SLA’s and target KPI’s.Maintain quality control procedures to ensure that all responses and solutions are provided in a timely manner and meet partner expectations.Take on special projects as needed, which may include process enhancement initiatives aimed at improving the efficiency and accuracy of royalty processing.Provide ad hoc support during the month-end close process, assisting Royalty accounting team with reconciliations, report preparations, audits, and analysis.Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within a finance and customer support environment.Strong understanding of financial processes, especially related to royalties and accounting.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both finance professionals and non-finance stakeholders.Proficient in the use of help desk software and ticketing systems.Excellent skills with Word, PowerPoint, Excel (VLOOKUP, SUMIF, Pivot Table).Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Experience working within a fast-paced changing environment while maintaining multiple deadlines.Royalty Experience a plus.SAP and Business Objects experience a plus.Estimated Pay Rate
