Position Overview

As a Robotics Engineer at Dyna Robotics, you will design, develop, and implement advanced robotic systems, integrating cutting-edge AI technologies into hardware solutions that push the boundaries of robotic manipulation. Your responsibilities will include maintaining and repairing robots, sourcing and assembling robotic parts, designing and fabricating 3D printed parts, and developing and implementing software checks. You will also be responsible for setting up teleoperation rigs for data collection both in our lab and at client locations. You’ll work closely with a team of world-class researchers and engineers to deliver innovative products that transform industries. Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and integrate robotic systems.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and prototype new robotic systems.Conduct research on industry advancements and contribute to the continuous improvement of Dyna's robotic technology.Lead the troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues in hardware and software integration, ensuring robotic systems perform reliably in diverse environments.Design and implement testing and validation procedures for robotic systems, ensuring compliance with performance, safety, and quality standards.Work with suppliers and vendors to source components for robotic development, maintaining quality standards and minimizing lead times.Support installation and setup of robotic systems at client locations, ensuring smooth deployment and successful integration.Collaborate with the data collection team to optimize teleoperation and autonomous processes, contributing to the success of large-scale data-driven robotics projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.4-7 years of experience in robotics, automation, or mechatronics.Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or ROS.Strong understanding of robotics principles, including kinematics, control systems, and sensor integration.Experience with Robotic Operating System (ROS) for developing and deploying robotic systems.Familiarity with simulation frameworks like Gazebo or Mujoco for testing and prototyping robotic controllers.Hands-on experience with CAD (e.g., SolidWorks), electrical design (e.g., Altium), and mechanical assemblies.Familiarity with advanced sensors, actuators, and control systems used in robotic applications.Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct root cause analysis and provide detailed reports.Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and deliver on complex projects in a startup environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of AI technologies and their application in robotic systems.Familiarity with agile methodologies and fast-paced startup environments.
