Function: Responsible for marketing products and services related to deposit acquisition, deepening and retention for consumer banking, wealth, and commercial banking across Bank channels. Responsible for researching, recommending, and executing marketing programs that will achieve the Banks' goals for deposit production and balance growth. Identifies consumer behavior, market demands, and competition to recommend marketing strategies and tactics to grow deposits and wealth. Regularly provides insight on results related to deposit and wealth marketing efforts. Collaborates with marketing, consumer banking, commercial banking, operations, and risk leadership teams to develop deposit and wealth product marketing enhancements to achieve Bank goals.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for developing, implementing and managing marketing strategies (delivery channels, promotional pricing, product launches) for consumer, small business, wealth, and commercial deposit products and services across Bank channels.

Designs, develops and executes marketing strategies to drive new household acquisition and deepen existing household relationships.

Collaborates with training, communication, and sales teams to coordinate and communicate product marketing strategies, tactics, and campaigns to enable successful execution.

Partner with risk and compliance to create marketing disclosures for programs and campaigns related to deposit products and services.

Serve as bank-wide subject matter expert for marketing materials and programs related to all deposit products and services.

Proactively look for opportunities to enhance deposit marketing reporting and tracking in partnership with data analytics and lines of business.

Partner with marketing, consumer product, consumer/commercial banking leadership team, and training groups to develop and maintain deposit products and services marketing collateral materials for both employees and customers.

Partner with Director of Consumer Products, risk, compliance, training, and communications to stay informed about and take appropriate action when changes to deposit product, deposit services or regulatory changes occur.

Design, develop and execute marketing campaign methodology and mediums used, in partnership with external marketing agencies and internal creative team, to achieve deposit product and services goals; Monitors marketing efforts and results for acquisition, growth, & retention of all deposit account types.

Partner with digital marketing team to keep deposit product and services website content fresh, up to date and aligned to competitors to support strategic initiatives and priorities of the Bank.

Manage third party relationships with deposit marketing related vendors to help execute marketing strategies.

Proactively research and understand enhancements with existing vendors and opportunities with new vendors to help further enhance deposit marketing programs (acquisition, deepening, and retention) in support of Bank's strategies priorities and goals.

Responsible to partner with risk and compliance, lines of business, and marketing partners to fulfill various annual compliance or regulatory audits including but not limited to: FDIC, UDAAP, third party audit vendors and internal audit.

Responsible to prepare annual deposit marketing plan and provides monthly updates for Senior Management for designated product lines. Monitors assigned goals and modifies marketing plan as needed to meet objectives and budget constraints.

Provides input for designated product marketing efforts for new branch openings or expansion into new markets via merger/acquisition; including, but not limited to, market and demographic analyses, market wide competitive analysis, and creation of promotional offers/incentives at new branch location.

Responsible to manage product line marketing budgets to operate within plan annually.

Participates in continuing education to further knowledge of industry innovation, gain competitor insights, and inspire ideation to achieve goals.

Participates in community, civic, and educational activities for business development opportunities and to promote the Bank's image.

Maintains a good working relationship with all bank employees. Demonstrates the ability to work independently. Works as a team player to contribute to the success of the department and in turn the organization.

Assumes responsibility of additional products and projects as need.

Physical Demands

Operates a keypad device 75% of the day. The primary parts of the body involved in performing this task are the fingers, thumbs, hands, wrists, elbows and upper torso standing is required 10% of the day. Sitting is required 85% of the day, walking is required 5% of the day. Use of manual dexterity skills for typing and data entry on a frequent basis, up to 75% of the business day. Specific vision requirements include close vision of 18"- 20" for computer work and occasional travel, up to 75% of the business day. Education

Requires a four year college degree or equivalent in Marketing, Business, or related fields.

Experience

Ten plus years general experience required. Five to ten years specialized experience required to include knowledge of the banking industry, customer strategies and project management.

Salary Range:

$65,000.00 - $140,000.00
