The

Sr. Director of Acquisition and Brand Marketing

is a key team leader who will define and execute a comprehensive, omni-channel acquisition marketing and brand strategy, reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer. Success will result in consistent branding, messaging, and positioning that delivers results which exceed expectations in areas of customer growth, retention, revenue, and cash flow targets.

The Sr. Director will lead a multi-faceted, dynamic marketing team, collaborate with cross-functional teams in the organization, and develop and deliver effective marketing campaigns and ongoing plans. Additionally, this leader will understand and analyze market trends and competitive environments to identify new market opportunities, optimize marketing channels and measure and report on success of marketing initiatives and campaign efficacy through robust data analytics. The Sr. Director will use this analytical approach to guide the team’s actions and approach to the market.

Direct Responsibilities

Leadership - Provide visionary leadership and mentorship to a team of marketing professionals, fostering a culture of data-driven decision making. Collaborate and work inter-departmentally to deliver a clear vision of marketing activities and to gain alignment on initiatives and strategies with overarching business goals. Drive continuous improvement and innovation in marketing strategies and tactics across the team.

Strategy, planning, and execution - Develop and execute strategic marketing plans, harnessing data analytics to achieve business objectives and targets. Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and advancements in marketing analytics and competitive environments, incorporating relevant insights into strategic planning and campaign execution.

Acquisition campaign development - Lead the team that researches and understands market dynamics inclusive of demographic and competitive information to develop game-changing marketing acquisition campaigns that deliver results. Constantly measure and report on campaign efficacy to refine content and messages to deliver outstanding results.

Brand leadership - Lead the team that defines and maintains the brand's identity, ensuring consistency across communication channels. Develop and evolve the company’s brand and identity to maintain and expand upon core values.

Content and Creative - Oversee the creation of compelling marketing content in all forms (video, audio, print, digital, social media, and interactive), employing data insights to tailor messaging and optimize audience engagement.

Brand Placement - Lead brand execution team in efforts to fulfill brand promises and deliver effective brand messaging to consumers and potential business clients. Engage multiple agencies to develop and execute efforts.

Sponsorship and Events - Lead, develop, and execute significant sponsorship relationships and foster a developing community event team that reaches consumers where they live, work, and play. Responsible for leading the team in strategic direction for sponsorships and events.

Competitive - Lead the research and summary analysis of competitive information, working with leadership to recommend the appropriate response and efforts to continually grow and retain customers.

Budgeting, Forecasting, and Expenses - Lead the budgeting, monthly forecasting, and expense tracking for the marketing team.

Research and analytics - Leverage data analytics to maximize ROI and effectiveness, continually monitor and optimize marketing campaigns and tactics to define and deliver sustained results, proving out strategies. Cultivate and maintain strategic partnerships with external agencies, vendors, and industry experts to drive innovation and stay ahead of market trends. Conduct rigorous market research and analysis to identify consumer and business trends, opportunities, and potential risks.

Skills And Experience

Bachelor's degree in marketing or business administration; Master's in Business is a plus.

Fifteen (15) or more years of experience in driving business to consumer (B2C) and business to business (B2B) teams to succeed in customer growth, revenue, and cash flow KPIs with a focus on strategic planning and execution.

Proven analytical skills and ability to interpret data to make informed decisions. Proficiency in marketing analytics tools and platforms.

Experienced leadership skills and ability to set high performance standards while leading team members' progression towards lofty goals.

Experience and excellence in digital marketing (SEM), website management & SEO, social media content, acquisition, and platforms.

Strong project management skills, with an ability to independently manage resources, budgets, and personnel with attention to detail.

Creative, innovative, and able to think outside the box.

Confident and dynamic personality with an ability to interact directly and frequently with various team members and peers.

Expert computer skills with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Salesforce CRM and HubSpot.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.

Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.

Creative thinker with a track record of developing innovative marketing strategies.

Experience in B2B and/or B2C marketing, preferably in the telecom sector.

Thrives in a cross-functional, team-based environment.

Physical activities include, but are not limited to climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, and lifting items (up to 35 pounds).
