When you step into a career with AT&T, you won’t just imagine the future—you’ll create it.This position provides consulting services by working directly with the customer to identify and recommend solutions that solve the customers strategic business goals.Key Roles and Responsibilities:Collaborate, confer and provide consulting services and manage project activities from client identification through final invoicing. Work on billable consulting service projects. Demonstrate product knowledge with the customer within a specific discipline.Work independently on complex projects, or work in a team as assigned by the project leader. Technical responsibilities may include problem identification, system architecture definition, hardware/software specification and/or design, implementation, testing, client training, and deployment.Manage technical aspects of delivery, customer satisfaction, and accurate timekeeping for billing purposes, on projects where the Consultant is the only technical resource or lead technical resource.Demonstrate broad knowledge of principles, theories and concepts in applicable discipline, plus working knowledge of other related fields. Assist less experienced peers as needed. Work performed under minimal direction. This job key applies to employees who are customarily and regularly engaged away from the employer's place or places of business in performing primary duties of making sales.Duties directly related to making sales include:Meeting with customers and engaging in sales activities at the customers site; communicating with customers via phone, teleconference, e-mail, etc. related to proposed solutions/sales.Traveling to and from the customers premise for the purpose of engaging in sales activities; providing subject matter expertise regarding technical issues relating to sales; advising customers on suitability of products based on technical needs; preparing proposals, presentations, or bids, including developing pricing and strategic plans related to the customer and the proposed solutions/sales.Researching and developing customer solutions with AT&T external partners, including design and engineering; and researching customer business and industry to identify new sales opportunities.Job Contribution:Education:
