Overview

This is a hybrid role with the expectation that time working will regularly take place inside and outside of a company office.The Senior Director, Corporate Real Estate Strategy & Programs develops and directs the strategic planning process and governance for multiple programs ensuring alignment with the Bank's goals, objectives, and expectations. Implements and executes strategies to manage operations and reporting, improve governance and processes, and foster key relationships. This position will influence and provide leadership on change management strategies and strategic direction for the Department. Delivers tactical insight to executive management and other key stakeholders through project portfolio analysis, metrics, and reporting.

Responsibilities

Program Strategy:

Builds a strategic planning framework across lines of business, working with cross-functional teams to understand and capture key strategic priorities. Implements and executes strategies that drive projects, programs, and strategic initiatives to align tactics with wider Bank goals and objectives. Oversees program efforts and provides status updates on major initiatives or high-profile issues as needed.Relationship Development:

Develops influential and collaborative relationships with business leaders and other key stakeholders in support of program office success.Risk Management:

Manages and mitigates risk exposure throughout Bank operations. Develops programs and facilitates the implementation of tools and techniques that enhance safety, service quality, and operational cost-effectiveness. Ensures compliance with applicable laws and regulations.Reporting:

Develops methods of measuring project and portfolio performance. Conveys program updates and performance results to the appropriate parties through metrics, reports, presentations, and other communications.Managerial Functions:

Establishes and monitors expectations to achieve company and department goals. Manages the performance, training, and evaluation of project office associates.Financial Planning:

Manages and prepares budget projections for the department and maintains regular financial reporting for executive management.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and 10 years of experience in Project Management OR High School Diploma or GED and 14 years of experience in Project Management.Preferred Areas of Experience:15+ years of experience in Corporate Real Estate10+ years of leadership experience including talent development and coaching of geographically dispersed teamsAdvanced verbal and written communication skillsProven ability to drive strategic directionProven experience leading through changeStrong organization and prioritization skillsBusiness acumen with the ability to navigate complex organizationsAdvanced analytical skills including building and implementing reporting practicesComputer skills - Advanced MS Office skillsExperience with Corporate Real Estate within financial services is preferredExperience with mergers, acquisitions, and associated integrations/conversions
