~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Please note that this position will remain open until filled.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Primary Function: To coordinate and perform varied assignments with a minimum of direct supervision, using independent judgment and discretion.Located at the Fowler Family Southside Center.Responsibilities: Provides support as assigned by supervisor, which may include: (1) administers, implements, analyzes, verifies, problem solves and system maintenance of the department's software systems utilized for class scheduling and student requirements (2) supports supervisor, instructor(s), students' and clients' needs as it pertains to their program (credit/non-credit) (3) administers financial responsibilities as it pertains to the department functions (4) monitors and assists students and instructors with the program credentialing requirements (5) monitors regulatory changes per program (6)

a cts as a liaison to software vendors and clinical facilities (7) performs varied secretarial duties: schedule appointments, process mail, reply to and forward correspondence not requiring supervisor's immediate attention, arrange meetings, attend and prepare meeting minutes; assist with developing and supporting departmental presentations (8) performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor and consistent with level of responsibilities of the job.Organizational Relationships: (1) Responsible to the Dean of Allied Health and Sciences and supervisory management of respective department.Performance Standards: Performance in this position is considered satisfactory when: (1) mutually agreed upon objectives are attained within a specified time frame (2) responsibilities of the position are carried out at a level consistent with performance objectives (3) effective relationships exist with the members of the administrative team, faculty, students and community constituencies.Qualifications: (1) Education: (a) Associate's Degree required in related field. (2) Skills, Knowledge, Abilities: (a) knowledge of and extensive use of MS Word, Access and Excel (b) ability to acquire knowledge of utilized software packages in a timely manner (c) ability to prioritize and organize work, at times under pressure of tight deadline; (d) ability to make independent decisions in the absence of the supervisor (e) strong oral and written communication skills (f) ability to maintain high degree of confidentiality due to access to sensitive employee and student information (g) availability to work as needed during hours outside of normal schedule to support departmental initiatives. (3) Experience: At least three years' related experience.
