Enterprise Technology is the center of excellence for digital technology at Blue Origin, providing oversight and governance to align technology and business strategies.As a Technical Product Owner at Blue Origin, you will act as the bridge between customer needs and the engineering teams, ensuring that product requirements are effectively translated into technical solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive product development and ensure that the digital infrastructure aligns with our strategic vision. Your ability to manage the product backlog, lead agile processes, and deliver customer-centric solutions will be key to the success of our projects.Special Mentions:Relocation providedTravel expected up to 25% of the timeResponsibilities include but are not limited to:Customer Advocacy:

Represent the customer throughout the development process by advocating for their needs and ensuring their voice is heard. Regularly engage with customers to deeply understand their pain points, requirements, and feedback.Requirements Gathering and Refinement:

Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to gather, refine, and document detailed product requirements. Translate these requirements into clear epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria with appropriate technical details that guide the development team. Align the product roadmap with the overall product vision, strategy, and customer needs.Agile Leadership and Sprint Planning:

Lead sprint planning sessions, set sprint goals, and ensure the development team is aligned with the scope and priorities. Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, proactively addressing roadblocks and resolving team queries to achieve sprint and release objectives.Cross-functional Collaboration:

Work closely with customers, software developers, UX designers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient product development and delivery. Act as a product ambassador, both internally and externally, sharing knowledge and providing support to enhance understanding and drive product success.Backlog Management:

Own and maintain the product backlog, ensuring it reflects the product vision, strategic priorities, and customer feedback. Prioritize features, enhancements, and bug fixes to optimize value delivery and alignment with business.Minimum QualificationsEducation:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or a related field.Experience:

6+ years of experience as a Product Owner, preferably in a technical environment with complex software products.Agile/Scrum Expertise:

Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Lean, Agile, and Scrum methodologies. Proven track record in leading agile processes and working with tools such as JIRA and Confluence.Technical Acumen:

Solid experience working with software engineering teams. Ability to understand technical concepts, engage in technical discussions, manage trade-offs, and evaluate new ideas with technical stakeholders.Analytical Skills:

Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills; proven ability to leverage data in decision making and measure product performance using KPIs.Communication Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.Leadership:

Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.Problem-Solving:

Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues before they impact product delivery.Customer-Centric:

Strong customer empathy and a passion for building products that deliver exceptional customer experiences.Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.Preferred QualificationsExperience with Aerospace software development processes and frameworks.Experience with manufacturing/supply chain systems.Compensation Range for:CA applicants is $159,654.00-$223,515.60; CO applicants is $146,800.50-$205,520.70; WA applicants is $159,654.00-$223,515.60.
