Scope of Leadership RoleThe Vice President RBS – Commercial Excellence (Sales, Marketing, Brand, Product Management) will be an experienced senior leader focused on the development, deployment, and evolution of RBS across the enterprise to drive short and long-term strategic goals, with a focus on driving growth through RBS philosophy and tools. They will collaborate with key business leaders and VP/GMs, in the decentralized business segments, to drive continuous improvement culture through establishing standards and ensuring effective problem-solving skills driving growth. The VP RBS, Commercial Excellence will lead by example and demonstrate company core values.

Deliver meaningful and sustainable results by using problem solving and system building as a catalyst to improve organizational skill sets across the commercial functions for all divisions.

Act as a thought partner and collaborate on the overall architecture of Continuous Improvement programs with specific focus on Commercial Excellence culture, process, and tools.

A senior leadership partner in culture and capability development through business system and talent building that drives sustainable commercial results.

Being a catalyst for change where Commercial Excellence transformation progress is stalled.

Key Responsibilities

Facilitating impactful improvements across the business in alignment with strategic objectives and expectations from stakeholders.

Assessing the readiness of the organization to grow, and prioritizing key initiatives to stabilize the foundation for scale.

Assessment of the current state of the growth business system infrastructure, inclusive of strategic planning, strategy deployment, quote-to-cash value stream, VoC (Voice of Customer) and segmentation, portfolio management, lead generation, sales funnel management and conversion, and sales force productivity.

Exemplifying the culture of Continuous Improvement across the organization.

Analyzing business metrics, trends, and processes to develop improvement strategies.

Collaborate with leadership to prioritize top level improvement priorities that position the organization for top quartile growth through priority initiative identification and execution, optimized across the SQDCG dimensions.

Utilizing a team-oriented structured problem-solving approach to analyze current conditions, diagnose problems, and identify improvement opportunities.

Developing action items from a strategic vision; balancing strategic and tactical work while meeting business performance needs.

Identify, coach, and develop talent across the enterprise to leverage RBS Continuous Improvement tools and methodologies to support their professional advancement and improve the business's operational performance.

Assess the operational performance of the commercial leaders and ensure strong selection of talent.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONSMinimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in business related field, preferred degree in business, marketing or a technical discipline.

MBA preferred.

Minimum 10 years of related work experience in progressively responsible leadership roles including those in Continuous Improvement, Sales and Marketing (Commercial), Product Line Management, Strategy and General Management with P&L responsibilities.

Experience with Lean transformation and rollout across multiple businesses with a global platform.

Proven experience in developing Go-To-Market Strategies, Market Segmentation, Product development.

Experience with business strategy planning/development and facilitating Strategy Deployment at senior leadership levels.

Strong business and financial acumen, engaging and dynamic leadership skills, and bias for action.

Ability to engage with all levels of the organization, including training of peers as well as executives.

Leadership skills to develop and mentor cross functional teams for Continuous Improvement journey.
