who can guide students toward success, whether through self-employment or in professional environments.Position Summary:As the Director of Career Services at SWIHA, you will play a pivotal role in helping students and alumni succeed in their holistic health careers. Whether they aim to become entrepreneurs or seek employment in studios, salons, and spas, you will provide the tools, resources, and guidance necessary to help them thrive. This role requires a balance of fostering entrepreneurial growth and building strong connections with industry employers.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage the Career Services department, providing strategic direction and guidance to staff.Develop and implement career development initiatives that cater to both self-employment and traditional employment opportunities for graduates in fields such as Aesthetics and Massage.Provide career coaching to students and alumni on a range of topics, from business development and entrepreneurship to job search strategies for employment in salons, spas, and wellness centers.Build and maintain relationships with employers in the holistic health industry, including studios, salons, spas, and wellness centers, to enhance job placement and internship opportunities.Collaborate with academic departments to align career services with the holistic health curriculum.Organize and execute career fairs, workshops, and networking events that address both entrepreneurial ventures and employment in professional settings.Use data and feedback to assess the effectiveness of career programs and continually improve offerings.Stay updated on trends in holistic health careers, entrepreneurship, and employment markets.Qualifications:5+ years of experience in career services, student affairs, or human resources, with a focus on career development in wellness, holistic health, or related industries.Proven experience in supporting students pursuing both self-employment and traditional career paths.Knowledge of the Aesthetics and Massage industries is highly desirable.Experience with the completion and placement requirements of ACCET or an equivalent accreditor is preferred.Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Alignment with SWIHA’s mission and core values.Why Work With Us?Make a meaningful impact by guiding students on both entrepreneurial and traditional career paths in the growing holistic health field.Be part of a community that values personal growth, wellness, and entrepreneurship.We live by a set of core values that drive all our decisions and actionsApplication Process:Please submit a cover letter, resume, and a list of references to
