At Premier Business Support, LLC, we’re excited to invite a visionary Human Resource Director who is a subject matter expert to lead and elevate our HR practices across our vibrant portfolio. We are looking for candidates that reside in CA, CO, TX, or NM. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to guide a talented HR team, oversee essential functions such as benefits management, onboarding, compliance, and drive strategic initiatives that will shape the future of our organization. With your 8-10 years of HR experience and expertise in complex labor laws, you'll play a pivotal role in fostering a collaborative, growth-focused environment where every team member thrives.

Summary of Position:

As our HR Director, you'll provide daily leadership and guidance to the HR support team, handling all generalist HR responsibilities for Premier Business Support, LLC and its affiliated companies, including McCarthy Holthus, LLP, Quality Loan Services, Quality Claims Corporation, ID Solutions, and Quality First Commercial.

Position Responsibilities:

Employee Health and Welfare Benefits Management:

Oversee and enhance employee benefits, including health insurance and wellness programs. Ensure our benefits packages are competitive, compliant, and perfectly aligned with employee needs.

Workers’ Compensation Oversight:

Manage workers' compensation claims with precision and empathy. Ensure timely processing and provide support to employees with work-related injuries, while upholding all regulatory standards.

Leaves of Absence Administration:

Efficiently manage various types of employee leave, from short-term disability to personal leave. Ensure all requests are handled smoothly and in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

Onboarding and Off-boarding Processes:

Lead a welcoming onboarding experience for new hires, including orientation and training. Oversee off-boarding processes to ensure a seamless transition for departing employees.

Learning and Development Programs:

Design and execute impactful training and development programs that boost employee skills and career growth. Identify needs, create opportunities, and assess the effectiveness of these initiatives.

Labor Law Compliance and Regulation:

Knowledge of California labor law required- Stay ahead of employment law changes and ensure our practices adhere to federal, state, and local regulations. Implement necessary policy updates to mitigate legal risks.

What We’re Looking For:

8-10 Years of HR Generalist Experience:

A robust background in handling a wide range of HR responsibilities with confidence and expertise.

Effective Interfacing with Senior Leadership:

Ability to engage and build strong relationships with Senior Partners, Executives, Managing Attorneys, and all levels of staff, influencing key decision-makers.

Leadership and Management:

Proven track record in leading HR teams, driving performance, and nurturing a positive, collaborative work culture.

Strategic Thinking:

Skill in aligning HR strategies with business goals, and crafting effective plans for talent acquisition, retention, and development.

Employee Relations:

Expertise in managing complex employee issues, resolving conflicts, and maintaining a positive and constructive work environment.

Talent Management:

Experience in recruitment, performance management, and succession planning to ensure we attract, develop, and retain top talent.

Knowledge of Employment Laws and Regulations:

Deep understanding of labor laws, particularly California regulations, to ensure compliance and minimize legal risks.

Communication Skills:

Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, crucial for conveying policies, resolving issues, and presenting ideas clearly to employees and executives.

Work Schedule:

The work week is typically Monday through Friday, with business hours of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Must be willing to work in office based on business needs. Hybrid option may be considered.

Pay Range:

$80,000 to $100,000- Compensation for this position will be determined based on a variety of factors including experience, location, and other relevant considerations.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is consistently required to: walk; use hands to finger, grasp, feel objects tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop and consistently sit, talk or hear. Employees may be required to perform all functions on a repetitive basis.

Exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally; lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, to include the human body.

Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
