In this role you will leverage both your engineering and machine learning background to help develop generative AI for shopping. On a day-to-day basis, you will:Design and implementation of a stable and efficient training infrastructure for pre-training, fine tuning and RLHF that scale to a large model size and hardware such as GPU resources.Collaborate with other talented applied scientists and engineers to improve training infrastructure that accelerates innovation.Quickly learn cutting-edge technologies and algorithms in the field of Generative AI.Support training on other platforms, such as AWS Trainium.Improve the training efficiency from different layers, such as framework and GPU optimization.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experienceExperience programming with at least one software programming languagePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experienceBachelor's degree in computer science or equivalentAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
