We are honored to say that your work will make a difference in the lives of many people.Mesa seeks an experienced utility-scale PV Solar & BESS engineer who:Functions as the lead design engineer for utility-scale PV Solar projects (20MW and larger)Leads the development of electrical design packages for utility-scale Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) projects (20MW and larger)Has the ability to serve as QA/QC on medium voltage collection system design projects and mentor junior engineersHas a strong understanding of inverter based technologies commonly applied for these project types.Collection design includes single line diagrams, collection system layouts, communication diagrams, power cable sizing and cable schedules, wiring diagrams, and following applicable fire, electrical and building codesEffectively communicates with all stakeholdersActively participates in project plan meetingsThe successful candidate will need to have knowledge and experience in:Applicable NEC and IEEE/ANSI standardsElectrical equipment including: MV and LV switchgear, pad mount transformer, panel boards, breakers, protective relays, inverter, UPS Systems, battery systems, DC Combiner boxes, battery chargers, disconnect switches, medium voltage cable and low voltage cableAC/DC cable sizing & cable ampacity studiesShort circuit and reactive capability analysis (ETAP or SKM)Arc flash analysis (ETAP or SKM)AC and DC voltage drop calculationsBenefits:Paid Time OffHoliday Pay – 10 AnnuallyGroup Medical/Dental InsuranceLife Insurance (Company Paid)Disability Insurance (Company Paid)401(K) Retirement Savings Plan401(K) Matching ContributionSection 125 / Cafeteria PlanLong Term Care InsuranceTuition ReimbursementFitness Center ReimbursementAnnual Performance Bonus9/80 Work ScheduleAnnual Salary Range:
