Executive Director - State Tax Commission

This position reports within the Bureau of Local Government and School Services and is responsible for performing high-level policy research and analysis regarding the General Property Tax Act. The role involves a range of complex assignments related to various property tax matters and supporting several policy programs, education, and training initiatives for which the State Tax Commission is responsible per the General Property Tax Act.This position serves as the Executive Director of the State Tax Commission and assists in coordinating agenda items for the Commission. Additionally, it reviews and evaluates policy and staff recommendations to ensure adherence to the rules, regulations, and procedures mandated by law and State Tax Commission promulgated rules and policy.EducationPossession of a bachelor's degree in any major.ExperienceFour years of professional experience, including two years equivalent to the experienced (P11) level or one year equivalent to the advanced (12) level.Job Type:
