Trust OfficerThis role is for a banking professional to service trusts and investments. This is a relationship-based role, where customers can span literal generations. This role can service private and corporate trust accounts.Trust Officer Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or equivalentJD and/or Masters degree preferred10 years of relevant trust administration experienceStrong teammate who enjoys collaboration with internal and external partnersCTFA, CFP, CFA, CES, or equivalent preferredTrust investment knowledge and/or experience with brokerage and/or delivery of trust services through alternative channelsBusiness growth experience a plusCommunication skills must be top tierTrust Officer Responsibilities:Responsible for trust account servicing, including ongoing account reviews, discretionary distribution reviews, relationship building with advisors, clients, and attorneys, assisting in researching legal issues, knowledge of state and federal statutes governing trust administration, and assisting in interpreting and executing actions as advised by governing documents including Wills, Trusts, Codicils, Amendments, FLP, Contracts, etc.Accountable for servicing and retention of existing accounts.Supervise and monitor new account establishment and funding.Work with internal trust team, attorneys, and accountants to ensure timely and accurate estate settlement including reviewing documents to assist in figuring out dispositive provisions, reviewing/approving payment of final expenses, coordinating gathering of material/documents for the final income tax return and estate tax return, assisting in settling other asset flow into trust/estate, ensuring proper distributions made to beneficiaries, ongoing communication with beneficiaries and advisors, etc.This opportunity includes an excellent compensation and benefits package.
