The Center for Experiential Learning (CEL) department aims to deliver impactful project-based experiential learning courses centered on real-world challenges. These courses enable students to develop knowledge and skills through hands-on, engaging experiences. Conducted in mini or full semester format, students work together in teams to solve complex problems provided by external partners.Under leadership of the Academic Director and in collaboration with the Academic Course Instructors, CEL Program Managers and CEL Operations team, the Executive Director will lead the development & implementation of the CEL’s strategic initiatives. The Director will also oversee daily operations to ensure that Olin maintains a diverse portfolio of experiential learning opportunities delivering mutually beneficial impact across all degree programs.Job Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:Aligned with Olin’s Strategic Plan, supervise the day-to-day management of each Olin Experiential Learning offering in order to deliver impactful experiences for the faculty, students, CEL Scholars and related alumni mentors.

Collaborate and regularly meet with Academic Director and Program Managers to address challenges and foster teamwork. Ensure open and consistent communication with Program Managers and the faculty teaching their respective program.

Work together with the Academic Director to develop and refine consistent and efficient CEL processes and implementation strategies, with the goal of continuously improving the delivery of impactful experiences for students.

Partner with the Academic Director and the Olin External Engagement team to seek new and manage existing relationships with both internal and external CEL stakeholders.

Collaborate with team to maintain a diverse pipeline of projects with external constituents.

Work with CEL Operations Director on day-to-day fiscal management that stewards the CEL's resources to realize and achieve the school and university’s strategic priorities pertaining to experiential learning.

$96,000.00 - $169,300.00 / AnnuallyThe salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University.
