Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be involved in computational modeling of gene drive and other forms of genetic biocontrol. They will be supported in this work through communication with other lab members.Essential Job DutiesModeling populations of insects, mammals, and plants to research the ability to spread a transgene into a population.Report findings to the head of the laboratory.May train other lab members on modeling tasks.Basic QualificationsKnowledge of Python and other coding languages.Knowledge of population genetics and molecular genetics.Required DocumentsResumeHiring Range$18.50 - $24.75 Per Hour. The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training.
