Our Client and Broker Engagement team manages AIG’s major client relationships across all product lines, as well as driving new business activity. The team serves major clients and broker partners through an elevated, personalized experience – our client-centric framework drives a consistent experience and best practice, while allowing flexibility to meet the client’s needs.What you need to know:The responsibilities will involve management of key Major Accounts client and broker relationships in the region. A successful candidate will have proven ability to align and influence internal and external stakeholders, is an effective communicator, has the ability to build commitment, and is tolerant of ambiguity. Key attributes for the role include leadership, creativity, collaboration, strong influential skills, presence, vision and broad insurance knowledge.How you will create an impact:Client Engagement:Build valuable client relationships with key personnel, including C-suite executivesServe as the senior AIG point of contact for key client partnersFormulate Strategic Action Plans with clients in order to identify critical client focus areas, existing AIG alignment and forward-looking opportunities for increased partnershipIdentify and maintain regular collaborative dialogue with key business influencers at major brokerage operationsInternal Management:Champion new and existing business initiatives working with the Zonal President, Managing Directors, Broker Engagement and Underwriting Business PartnersCollaborate with Zonal leadership to ensure Client Centric Focus is integrated into all Zonal sales and business planningDevelop and implement collaborative marketing strategies to achieve business production and performance goals for the ZoneManage account and product portfolio across Distribution and Profit Center resourcesDrive the AIG value proposition and ensure that clients are aware of the array of products, services and solutions (enterprise-wide) available and enhance exposure to AIGDevelop plans to improve portfolio and account performance, enhance service and strengthen relationships with major account clientsDeliver results in new business production and cross selling from existing clients in line with set objectivesMeet or exceed client retention and premium retention goals for Major Account Segment in the ZoneWhat you'll need to succeed:Proven client relationship / management experienceExperience in Property & Casualty InsuranceAbility to build relationships, internally and externallyAbility to influence brokers, clients, peers, senior executives and staffAbility to manage complex global insurance relationshipsStrong financial and accounting skills to effectively engage at the senior management levelStrong problem-solving abilitiesFor positions based in California the base salary range is $165,000 - $200,000.
