Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, you will be a critical Worldwide Sales Leadership Team member where your creativity and ideas will make a difference. Agile and able to respond to the business and market needs, you will own the creation and execution of the emerging business strategy, always with an eye on short- and longer-term impacts.Responsibilities

Create and execute the emerging business strategy to maximize revenue for short- and longer-term goalsAct as Autodesk’s global figurehead and leader of our emerging business eco-systemOwn internal and customer communications and be an experienced storyteller and influencerRole model Autodesk Culture Code. You will be a culture champion and hold others to the same high ethical behaviour and compliance standardsSkillfully utilize broad networks to promote AutodeskKeep abreast of business trends and the global competitive landscape and skillfully navigate through times of change and ambiguityHire, grow, retain and inspire a global sales organizationTrack, identify, develop and pursue opportunities for new and existing clientsLead and support negotiations with clients, partners, and consultantsThink in terms of systems and seek improvement opportunities to ensure impactful systems are in place to track progress and scalability while managing the performance of the business and operational rhythmLead capture activities and serve as a senior advisor on pricingOwn the emerging business budget and effectively manage short and long-term tradeoffsUse data and analytics to drive operational rigourMinimum Qualifications

15+ years of broad business leadership experience, including 10+ years in sales, and 8+ years in the software industry, with SaaS experience5+ years minimum of experience partnering and influencing at the CEO Staff levelStrong cross-functional leader who can effectively partner across all functions and levelsProven ability to design and execute high performing teamsPeople-focused leader with proven ability to build creative, collaborative teams; develop people; and link performance to overall high-growth business objectivesCrisp, clear communicator at all levels internally and externallyBalanced leader that makes recommendations based on data and EQ; Analytical with intuitionCreative problem-solver who is an active listener that seeks out contextGlobal experience and willingness to travel globally as neededThe Ideal Candidate

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based sales roles, we expect a starting On-Target Earnings (OTE) between $456,000 and $627,000. OTE is comprised of base salary plus commission target for sales roles. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries and/or OTE for sales roles, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.Equal Employment Opportunity
