We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a complex water treatment project in San Leandro, California. This position involves overseeing all aspects of the project, including construction, budget management, and ensuring that project personnel and production schedules align with company standards and contractual agreements.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the construction, budget, and cash flow for the assigned project, ensuring compliance with contract requirements.
Develop and oversee the project schedule, pay estimates, procedures, and equipment resources to meet production goals.
Lead the project team, creating staffing plans and ensuring timely completion of objectives.
Provide technical expertise in project pursuits and contract negotiations.
Collaborate with stakeholders such as regulatory bodies, business owners, and landowners to ensure project success.
Identify and manage project risks while negotiating change orders.
Present monthly project reports to executive leadership.
Ensure project safety by adhering to company and client safety procedures.
Oversee project closeout, including final paperwork, retainage, and claims resolution.
Qualifications:
15+ years of construction project management experience.
10+ years of experience managing personnel.
Experience in water/wastewater treatment plant construction is highly preferred.
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field is a plus.
Expertise in various project delivery methods including bid-build, CMGC, and design-build.
Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple departments and mentor project personnel.
Valid Driver’s License required.
