Reporting to the Senior Director, Assistant Controller, you'll oversee billing, collections, and technical revenue recognition, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and SOX requirements.Key Responsibilities
Lead revenue accounting, billing, and accounts receivable/collection teamsDevelop and implement scalable processes for revenue recognition and order-to-cashServe as accounting lead on deal desk, partnering with Legal, Sales, and Strategic FinanceEstablish revenue recognition policies for new business models and productsDrive process improvements and automation initiativesEnsure compliance with SOX, U.S. GAAP, and other regulatory requirementsManage month-end and quarter-end close processes for revenue-related mattersQualifications
10+ years of accounting experience, including public company and Big 4 experienceCPA with strong knowledge of ASC 606, focusing on SaaS/Software industryBachelor's degree in Accounting or FinanceExperience with accounting systems, Salesforce, and Workday Financial (preferred)Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skillsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environmentAirtable is an equal opportunity employer. Compensation awarded to successful candidates will vary based on their work location, relevant skills, and experience. Our total compensation package also includes the opportunity to receive benefits, restricted stock units, and may include incentive compensation.For work locations in the San Francisco Bay Area, New York City, and Los Angeles, the base salary range for this role is: $239,400 — $395,200 USD.For all other work locations (including remote), the base salary range for this role is: $215,500 — $323,300 USD.
