Job Summary
The Logistics Coordinator will play a vital role in our reverse logistics process, managing the pickup of samples from dropbox locations worldwide and ensuring their timely and successful delivery to our lab. This position is essential to maintaining the efficiency and integrity of our supply chain and customer service operations. Your job duties will include:Courier/Driver Oversight: Monitor the sample pickup process from dropbox locations according to schedule, and promptly address and resolve any issues with drivers or couriers.Courier Selection: Assist in selecting couriers as we expand our services to new locations.Quality Control: Assist in evaluating courier performance using key metrics such as time-to-completion, failed pickups, lost packages, and billing issues to ensure high-quality, fast, and reliable service for our customers.Communication: Maintain clear communication with laboratory technicians to ensure samples arrive on time and in proper condition.Continuous Improvement: Propose and implement enhancements to the reverse logistics process to improve efficiency and reduce costs.If you’re eager to take on a pivotal role in organizing and coordinating diverse operational processes to ensure seamless and efficient workflows, this job is perfect for you!Qualifications
Detail-Oriented & Organized: Meticulous attention to detail and ability to stay organized while working on multiple projects at a time.Experience: 1-3 years of experience in supporting reverse logistics or logistics highly preferred. Background or interest in Operations Research preferred.Problem Solver: Creative thinker who drives tasks to completion.Eager Learner: Demonstrates a strong desire to continually learn and grow, quickly adapting to new information, tasks, and challenges.Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong interpersonal skills.Proactive: Self-starter with a proactive attitude and the ability to work independently.Flexibility: Occasional overtime or flexible working hours based on the Logistics Team’s needs.Compensation and Benefits
