We’re hiring a dynamic Sales Manager to lead our team to success. Once the training program is completed, you’ll be responsible for motivating and developing your team, identifying targets, and evaluating the team’s sales performance to help us achieve our sales goals. The ideal candidate is a natural leader who loves exciting challenges with financial incentives. We want to hear from you! Responsibilities: • Counsel your sales team members, evaluate their performance, and offer suggestions for improvement • Keep the company growing by identifying new sales opportunities, emerging markets, and lead generation programs • Ensure our sales staff achieves their goals by making sales plans for each sales representative, setting individual sales targets, assigning territories, and managing their ongoing training programs • Outline our sales strategies and objectives to ensure we make our sales goals • As a candidate for the Fast Track Management Program, you’ll join New York Life as a financial professional to gain hands-on experience. Once you have met the program requirements, which typically take between 6-12 months, you’ll be eligible for promotion to Associate Partner • In this management role, you’ll begin recruiting and developing your own team of financial professionals. You’ll also be enrolled in the Associate Partner Training Program, a six-month intensive training designed to help ensure that you succeed when promoted to Partner • You’ll build and lead your own team with the support of a Fortune 100 company. Our development managers and product consultants will support you in reaching your financial professionals with everything they need to know. NYLIC University, one of the most comprehensive and well-respected training programs in the industry, offers a blended learning curriculum designed to meet financial professionals’ needs throughout the various stages of their careers Qualifications: • At least 3 years of experience in sales management or in a leadership role in the sales department • Displays a proven track record of sales success • Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in business or a similar field • Strong analytical skills, communication skills, and leadership skills For our 18-month Management Fast Track Program, we’re looking for goal-driven leaders who are eager to build and develop their own unit of financial professionals.
