and the Neurology program is nationally ranked #11.The acute nocturnal services encompass stroke coverage to the Houston Methodist regional sites with a combination of comprehensive and primary stroke centers with a robust ER presence strategically located throughout the Houston area.Position Details:Flexible Schedule: 160-180 shiftsPrimary Responsibility: Hyperacute stroke management via Telestroke (TNK, ICH, LVO)Hours: 4pm-7am; 7a-7a weekends/holidaysStrong neuroimaging diagnostic and virtual stroke evaluation with time-critical care deliveryExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, enhanced virtual care skillsAbility to work well in a team and collaborate with other healthcare professionals across a systemQualified Candidates:Completed Neurology residencyFellowship training in Vascular Neurology with exposure to Telestroke/TeleneurologyEligible for a Texas medical license or currently hold a Texas medical license in good standingStrong interests in academic missions, including high-quality clinical care, education, and researchWhat We Offer:Competitive base salary plus incentivized bonus structureSign on bonusComprehensive benefits (medical insurance, life insurance, disability)PTO and HolidaysGenerous Retirement PlanAbout Houston Methodist:Houston Methodist Hospital Texas Medical Center is the No. 1 hospital in Texas by U.S. News & World Report and holds a prestigious spot on Forbes America's Best Large Employers List.
