Enterprise Territory Account Executive - West, Bay Area

Nobody checks every box - we’re looking for candidates that are particularly strong in a few areas, and have some interest and capabilities in others.About the role:Taking full ownership of your business, strategy, opportunities, pipeline, and revenue net new Enterprise accounts in the West ( Understanding customer’s business requirements and aligning Kong solutions that will add value and help them achieve their business objectivesProviding account leadership and direction in the pre- and post-sales process and contributing to analysis on wins/lossesEffectively managing and leveraging Cross-functional relationships with SE, SDR, Operations, Marketing, Product, Legal, etc.Fostering and Encouraging partnership with the Channel, Cloud Providers, Systems Integrators, ISVs, etc.Building large ecosystem-based sales campaignsEmbracing the sales process with attention to detailOperating with a high standard of excellenceMeeting Customers and Partners on-site and remotely, as well as attending events, trade shows, etc.WHAT YOU'LL BRING7+ years of hunting experienceA strong desire to succeedA past track record of successA key focus on helping customers solve & address their business challengesExperience with infrastructure software, open source, APIM, and the cloud native landscape preferredWhy should you want to work at Kong?Market Opportunity
