Location: Orland Park, IllinoisVoted by Newsweek in 2024 as one of America's Greatest Workplaces for Diversity, Brookdale Orland Park, a beautiful 104 apartment Assisted Living & Memory Care community, is seeking a Sales & Marketing Director to join our leadership team.The Sales & Marketing Director position offers a competitive base salary plus commission, with additional earning opportunity through our President’s Club!We are looking for a sales and marketing professional with a proven track record of generating and closing qualified leads. As our Sales & Marketing Director, you will partner with the Executive Director and District Director of Sales to improve occupancy at our independent living & assisted living community. We will provide you with the training and support to develop referral sources and bring in new residents. In this role, you will supervise two sales associates.Responsibilities:Maintain and/or improve occupancy levels and revenue production in accordance with marketing and business plans.Develop and maintain relationships with residents, family, and professional referral sources.Plan, coordinate, and implement monthly prospect and/or referral source activities and events.Partner with Regional Sales management to develop and execute marketing plans.Supervise the activities of at least two Full-time Equivalent (FTE) Marketing Coordinator(s) and/or Sales Counselor(s).Close sales by assisting prospective residents and their families in the decision-making process.Utilize sales processes, systems, and forms for external and internal sales.Complete outside Business Development sales calls to meet or exceed established goals.Monitor conversion ratios regarding Business Development calls to direct referrals.Maintain working knowledge of the lead management system.Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field preferred, or equivalent combination of experience and education required.Minimum of five years sales experience, preferably in the retirement industry or medical or pharmaceutical sales.Strong leadership and communication skills.Ability to build effective relationships with local business partners.Knowledge of sales and marketing principles, Medicare and Medicaid regulations, and state regulations impacting service delivery.Physical Demands and Working Conditions:Standing, walking, and use of hands and fingers to handle or feel.Requires interaction with co-workers, residents, or vendors.Frequent travel required.Brookdale is an equal opportunity employer and a drug-free workplace.
