Our mission is to leverage the power of the private sector to end extreme poverty and boost shared prosperity on a livable planet.The Treasury and Mobilization VPU is responsible for managing IFC's financial resources and ensuring a financially healthy balance sheet safeguarding IFC's triple-A credit rating. The Vice Presidency manages IFC's liquid assets, global market borrowings, derivatives transactions, and a portfolio of third-party capital.The Adviser position provides a unique opportunity to see the institution from a strategic and high-level perspective and reports directly to the Vice President and Treasurer. The Adviser will be involved in all aspects of the VPU's work. The position requires maturity, diplomacy, teamwork, business acumen, judgement, communication skills, and a deep commitment to IFC's mission.Duties and Accountabilities:Responsibilities for the successful applicant will include, but are not limited to:

Managing the daily workflow for the VP, ensuring uninterrupted visibility and appropriate follow through on actions, decisions, and commitments made by the VP.Aiding the VP on all matters relating to the functioning of the VPU and the VPU's work program.Attending meetings with or on behalf of the VP, ensuring agenda setting in advance, minute taking and appropriate follow-through.Representing the VPU as needed in ad-hoc working groups/task forces.Participating in the VPU Senior Leadership and Leadership Teams, nurturing relationships with VPU staff.Working with the VPU leadership and HR business partner to ensure diversity and inclusion targets are met.Coordinating and synthesizing inputs from VPU departments on issues requiring VPU-level responses.Preparing correspondence, memoranda, and internal and external presentations.Assisting with the planning of VPU knowledge forums.Liaising with IFC Management Teams and with Advisers to the IFC and WBG management teams.Maintaining regular contact with a wide range of staff to stay abreast of emerging issues.Coordinating with the Front Office team to ensure smooth operations.Undertaking ad hoc tasks necessary for the smooth functioning of the Front Office.Selection Criteria:

Master's degree in relevant field and at least 8 years of relevant experience.A deep understanding of IFC's balance sheet and business model.Experience working with IFC / World Bank Group operations in the private sector or in capital market operations.Commitment to the World Bank Group's and IFC's mission, strategy and values.Flawless integrity and highest ethical standards.Demonstrated teamwork, people management skills, and client orientation.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Proven ability to produce high quality work under tight deadlines.Demonstrated capability to quickly establish key networks and relationships.Proven ability to work independently with strong organizational skills.Familiarity with using technology to enhance productivity.Ability to make fair, well-reasoned, independent and transparent decisions.Excellent interpersonal and diplomatic skills.Note:
