We are incubating a new team from the ground up to deliver Cloudera's Data Services on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).About the TeamThe Data Services Platform (DSP) team is building a common substrate for Cloudera's next-gen Data Services for GenAI Inferencing, Machine Learning, Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, Data Flow, Data Lake etc. We are building a hybrid data platform that abstracts out the complexities of various cloud providers like AWS, Azure, GCP and is the foundation pillar of Cloudera's hybrid-cloud and multi-cloud strategy. Cloudera's next-gen Data Services enables customers to utilize their on-premise and cloud infrastructure, dynamically adjusting and scaling to their workload needs.The Data Services Platform team have deep technical expertise in distributed computing and container orchestration technologies like Kubernetes, Apache Hadoop, etc. and on various cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP, Openshift, RKE etc. We have team members who have been the pioneers of open source projects like
Apache YARN ,
Apache Ambari ,
YuniKorn for Kubernetes . We are deeply involved in open source communities like Apache Software Foundation, CNCF.We are expanding our charter and incubating a new team under the Data Services Platform organization to enable Cloudera Data Services on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). We are looking for an experienced backend engineer with working experience on Cloud platforms like GCP, AWS, Azure, Openshift and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes. You will be responsible for designing, building and delivering this platform and will closely collaborate with partner engineering teams to deliver features and products at a rapid pace. You must be self-motivated, innovative, and proactive.
