The Senior Analyst – Revenue Management is responsible for the day-to-day analysis and reporting needs to support Managed Care contracting, payor maintenance, negotiation, management, and ad hoc revenue analyses. The Senior Analyst – Revenue Management will work closely with Managed Care and Finance stakeholders to understand the implications of the evolving payor landscape.

Responsibilities
Prepare and distribute analyses to understand the financial impact of new and existing payor contracts and collaborate with Managed Care leaders to support payor negotiations
Develop financial models to project reimbursement rates, financial impacts, and potential risks associated with contract terms
Assist with the analytic management of end-to-end procedures that support both existing and new payer contracts for Amerita
Partner with various business functions to identify areas of potential revenue optimization and assess operational and financial implications
Provide comprehensive reporting to detail contract performance, benchmarking contracts to ensure rates and terms are favorable and in line with industry standards and company expectations
Present findings to executive leaders and use a data driven approach to make recommendations to leadership
Other duties and projects as assigned. Listed responsibilities are intended to be reflective of the scope of the role and may evolve over time
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with major or emphasis in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Data Science, or related field
MBA or M.S. in relevant field, preferred
Three or more years of work experience in Finance, Accounting, or Data Analytics. Prior experience in healthcare revenue cycle, preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Thorough understanding of finance department policies and procedures
Experience delivering accurate and timely financial models and offering business recommendations
Excellent database and data mining skills with highly intuitive financial acumen
Experience with SQL, Excel, and PowerPoint, or comparable tools
High level of organizational skills
Ability to support minimal out-of-state travel, which is not expected to exceed 8% or four (4) weeks per year
