Responsibilities
Create visually appealing displays to showcase products and attract customers
Collaborate with store management to develop and implement merchandising strategies
Arrange and organize merchandise according to brand guidelines and seasonal themes
Ensure that all displays are clean, well-maintained, and properly stocked
Monitor inventory levels and communicate with management regarding restocking needs
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate them into visual displays
Collaborate with sales team to ensure that merchandise is accurately priced and labeled
Train and educate store staff on visual merchandising techniques
Create and implementing a visual merchandising strategy for the store.
Ensure the strategy is in line with the store’s brand, products, and target market.
Source props, creative materials, and accessories for displays.
Install and set up window displays, walkways, counters, and in-store displays.
Change displays to promote new product launches or to reflect festive or seasonal themes.
Monitor costs and work within a budget.
Qualifications
Previous experience in merchandising is preferred
Understanding best practices in customer service and sales
Working knowledge of current visual merchandising trends and best practices
Strong communication skills and willingness to work well with supervisor and coworkers in a team environment
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field is preferred, but not required
