The Department of Cancer Immunology & Virology, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, invites applications for a part-time scientist to work with mouse models in support of current research staff. We are seeking highly motivated individuals with demonstrated potential for excellence. The Cantor laboratory studies the immune response of T cell genes and their products in the context of murine models of neurodegenerative disorders (Alzheimer’s), autoimmunity, anti-tumor immunity, and antibody-mediated rejection. The successful candidate will assist with oversight and maintenance of a complex mouse colony and other related experimental work.The Dana-Farber Cancer Institute is a major research center that offers a vibrant, interactive research community in basic and translational research. Working cooperatively with all research scientists in the group.Background in immunology and preclinical studies in mouse models is essential.DNA isolation, immunoprecipitation, immunoblotting, and general lab organization/safety.Experience with T cells and other immune cells in vitro and in vivo, immunological techniques, and flow cytometry are highly desirable.Maintenance of experimental data for reports.Minimum Requirements:
