This position will require the the ability to deliver dies and supplies safely from our warehouse to our customers. It also involves helping the finishing department to run samples and apply build up to cutting dies between deliveries.
Duties and Responsibilities: Additional duties may be assigned
Deliver dies and supplies to and from our customersPerform simple vehicle maintenance; cleaning of interior of vehicle, checking lights, checking tires, filling fluids. Notify supervisor when vehicle needs maintenance (i.e., oil change, window replacement, tire repair, tabs and licensing)Observes all traffic laws and posted speed limitsMust get all pertinent information if involved in an accident and inform appropriate company official.Interacts with vendors and customers in a professional mannerPick up and return supplies and equipment to and from vendors and customersProcess all paperwork (i.e., purchase orders, receiving/shipping papers, driver delivery log, etc. ) associated with making deliveriesAssist in finishing department and other areas of productionAdhere to all safety rules, regulations, and state laws pertaining to the operation of a motorized vehicleassist with inventory count at the the year-endRequired Skills and Abilities
Must have valid driver's licenseAbility to read and speak EnglishAbility to follow written and verbal instructionsAbility to work with minimal supervisionAbility to read maps and follow specific delivery instructions.Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent1-2 years related experience or equivalentFamiliarity with delivery practices and handling methodsPhysical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk on hard surfaces for several hours a dayAbility to lift and move die boards weighing up to 65lbs from one location to anotherAbility to load and unload delivery truckAbility to sit and drive for long periods of timeAbility to read job specificationsConstant bending, reaching, and stooping to get materials and supplies
