Summary This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Responsibilities You will prepare Performance Assessment Plans (PAPs), Functional Assessment Plans (FAPs), and assessment schedules You will review requests submitted by the contractor for contract modifications and change orders. You will review contractor Accident Prevention Plans (APPs) and Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs) assessing the effectiveness of the contractor's safety program. You will document contractor performance on the applicable Performance Assessment Worksheets, provide copies to the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) and maintain a file copy. You will maintain a filing system on all factors pertinent to the various Facility Support Contracts assigned which will include assessment worksheets, schedules, discrepancies noted, cost estimates, safety and security documentation, etc. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-7 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Preparing cost analysis and estimates for services; 2) Performing on-site visits of maintenance or repair projects to ensure quality of service; 3) Evaluating the contractor's work against measurable performance standards; 4) Reviewing contractor's proposal for modifications or changed conditions; and 5) Interpreting blueprints, schematic diagrams and architectural drawings. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Education Additional Information This announcement uses the Certain Personnel of the DoD direct hire authority to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. Certain incentives (such as Recruitment, Relocation or Student Loan Repayment) may be authorized to eligible selectees. A relocation incentive is generally a single payment intended to offset some of the relocation costs experienced by the selectee. A relocation incentive may be authorized. This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Several vacancies may be filled. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if the selectee fails to meet the pre-employment requirements, including failure to report to any of the scheduled appointments.
