We are known for our high-quality landscape, tree maintenance, and snow removal services, and our team is passionate about pursuing excellence in every endeavor.If you are a high-energy and self-motivated individual who takes pride in working alongside your crew, a position at Riverside Services may be the next best step in furthering your career!Job Type: Full-TimePay: $30.00+/hour based on experienceHere is what working as a Landscape Construction Crew Leader at Riverside Services will entail:Enjoying minimal supervision but knowing to ask for help when you need itTaking pride in maintaining work spaces and vehicles and being clean and organizedFeeling a sense of achievement in meeting or exceeding company production standardsDemonstrating your leadership skills by managing and directing a crew of 2-6 peopleLeading by example in a professional manner and meeting production standardsAnticipating problems and planning ahead for needed materials, equipment, and assistanceEnsuring team members are using safe field practices and PPE, while reporting unsafe conditions to supervisors and properly documenting all accidentsEffectively communicating and coordinating with other team members about job progressComplying with company policies, procedures, and SOPsDemonstrating your expertise by training a crew as a teamEnsuring job cost reports are properly analyzed and that job paperwork, purchase orders, and time sheets are filled outWe ask that you have these qualifications:Three years of experience in landscape constructionAbility to operate company equipment: skid steer, mini excavator, mini-skid steer, tracked loader, chop saws, etc.Ability to operate a transit, shoot grades, and grade sitesAbility to lay out a job site and order materialsAbility to perform daily preventative maintenance on company equipmentAbility to read landscape plans and drawingsMCLP or can obtain the designationPhysical capability to handle the workload of a construction laborerHigh school diploma or GEDExcellent communication skillsBilingual in Spanish and English (preferred)No criminal recordValid MA hydraulics licenseValid driver’s license & are insurable
