This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our Atlanta office.

The Aon Fac Facility team is an industry-leading, best-in-class group focusing on a fast-growing product within reinsurance. Colleagues are located throughout the US (Atlanta, Chicago, New York, Boston, and remote) and we service US-based Insurance clients.

What the day will look like

With a developing client base and continuous new demand, the role will begin in a training and support environment, learning the intricacies of the product and service standards. However, given the sizeable amount of new opportunities, the new colleague will have the ability to absorb and manage new or renewal business as capability dictates. Responsibilities include:Works with complex data to create comprehensive and accurate internal management systems of which you will monitor and track all steps within the placement process.Identifies specific client and prospect needs and develops innovative and cost-effective solutions.Develops comprehensive relationships with key markets and is always knowledgeable about current risk appetite and market dynamics.Assists in the development of sales and marketing strategy designed to cultivate revenue generation opportunities.Maintains at all times a thorough understanding and knowledge of all available Aon resources and solutions available, and matching those to client business requirements.Achieves high client satisfaction by providing exceptional service.Fosters and promotes a team approach to both internal and external business relationships.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

6+ years broking and/or underwriting commercial lines experience, with a focus on Property Reinsurance.Bachelor’s degree; CPCU or ARE designation or progression towards is preferred but not required.Excellent knowledge and understanding of commercial property insurance (previous experience in reinsurance is an asset).Exceptional interpersonal skills with the capability to interact with major clients to cultivate and maintain strong relationships.Excellent communicator (both verbally and in writing) with internal and external clients.Entrepreneurial attitude with keen negotiation, business acumen, and problem-solving skills.Strong organization and time management skills, able to multitask and manage projects.Ability to work independently as a self-starter; committed to delivering the highest in client service, quality, and results.Previous formal or informal experience in managing teams or direct reports.Expert with top-notch client relationship management capabilities.The ability to embrace change in support of the business unit’s and company’s goals.Working knowledge of MS Office suite of products with the ability to learn and use multiple software and system-based applications.Professional demeanor with a positive attitude.Ability to travel.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, a related field, or equivalent years of industry experience.

Pay Transparency Laws

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $150,000 to $200,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on the applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on the applicant’s geographic location.

This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
