You will lead efforts in designing responsive user interfaces using React, integrating seamlessly with SAP Commerce (Hybris) back-end systems. Your expertise in modern front-end technologies, combined with a deep understanding of ecommerce platforms, will ensure optimal performance, scalability, and user experience. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with backend developers, UX/UI designers, and cross-functional teams to deliver efficient, accessible, and maintainable solutions. If you thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment and are passionate about creating top-tier web applications, this role is for you.ResponsibilitiesWeb Application Development: Build and maintain scalable, responsive web applications using React, jQuery, and other front-end technologiesDesign and implement user-friendly interfaces, ensuring high code quality, reusability, and efficiencyCollaborate with backend developers to integrate front-end components with server-side logic, ensuring smooth data flows between React components and SAP Commerce (Hybris)Performance Optimization: Regularly update and optimize existing applications for functionality, performance, and compatibility across browsers and devicesImplement complex features, ensuring compatibility across various platforms while optimizing for performance and work closely with designers, product managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality products that meet both technical and user requirementsMaintain detailed documentation for application architecture, design decisions, and coding standardsCustomize Hybris storefront templates and components to meet project needs, ensuring seamless integration with React and optimal performance within the SAP Commerce environmentDevelop and maintain modular, reusable React components to optimize scalability and maintainability and ensure front-end optimization within SAP Commerce for fast load times and smooth user interactionsAdhere to best coding standards, practices, and guidelines, ensuring consistency and quality across projectsConduct regular code reviews to ensure adherence to standards and promote knowledge sharingWork closely with UX/UI designers to ensure intuitive, accessible interfaces that adhere to WCAG standardsTo Land This OpportunityYou have 5+ years of front-end development experience with a strong focus on ecommerce applicationsYou are an expert on building modular, reusable components, implementing state management (e.g., Redux, Context API), and leveraging React lifecycle methods and hooks (e.g., useState, useEffect)You have experience integrating React components with Hybris, customizing storefront templates, and optimizing performance within the Hybris environmentYou obtain experience with front-end testing frameworks and tools like Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, and QUnitYou can maintain and refactor jQuery code, ensuring compatibility with React and leveraging it where necessaryYou have experience deploying front-end applications on cloud platforms (Azure preferred, but AWS or Google Cloud is beneficial)You are proficient in performance monitoring and optimization using tools like Google Analytics, New Relic, and DatadogYou are familiar with implementing secure front-end applications using OAuth2, JWT, and SSO integrationsYou possess excellent communication and teamwork abilities, working closely with backend developers, UX/UI designers, and product teamsYou are confident with WCAG standards for accessibility and a strong understanding of user-centric design principlesYou have hands on experience with Modern Tools: Familiarity with containerizing front-end applications using Docker and deploying them on KubernetesBonus points if you have a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
