Our client is a leading healthcare company with an urgent need for a fully remote Patient Account Representative in Hawaii. This position is work-from-home with equipment provided; however, candidates are REQUIRED to live in Hawaii. This is a 3-month assignment to start, with potential to extend. The shift is Mon-Fri varying from 7am-3pm, 7:30am-4pm, and 8am-4:30pm, so flexibility to work any schedule is required. The ideal candidate has 1-3 years of experience in medical billing, coding, or collections.

Responsibilities:
Physician Billing collectionsFollow up with payers on statuses of their claimsGenerate appeal letters as neededReview and overturn denials1-3 years of medical billing/coding/collections experienceEMR/EHR (Epic software preferred)
