We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Inventory Manager to join our high-performing Mercedes-Benz dealership. As we embark on a period of significant growth, we are looking for a visionary leader who can optimize our inventory strategy and drive sales success.

Responsibilities:

Inventory Planning and Management:

Develop and execute a comprehensive inventory strategy aligned with dealership sales goals and market trends. Optimize inventory levels to maximize profitability while minimizing carrying costs. Conduct regular inventory analysis and forecasting to ensure optimal stock levels.

Vehicle Acquisition:

Source and acquire new and pre-owned vehicles through various channels, including auctions, dealer trades, and direct purchases. Build and maintain strong relationships with wholesale partners to secure desirable inventory.

Pricing and Profitability:

Establish competitive pricing strategies for new and pre-owned vehicles to maximize profitability. Conduct market analysis to ensure pricing aligns with market conditions.

Team Leadership:

Oversee and develop a high-performing inventory team. Provide clear direction, coaching, and support to team members. Foster a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.

Process Improvement:

Identify opportunities to streamline inventory processes and improve efficiency. Implement best practices and leverage technology to optimize operations.

Data Analysis:

Utilize data analytics to inform decision-making and identify trends. Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure inventory performance and identify areas for improvement.

Customer Satisfaction:

Ensure that all inventory processes contribute to an exceptional customer experience. Collaborate with sales and service departments to meet customer needs and exceed expectations.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in automotive inventory management, preferably within a luxury dealership.

Strong analytical skills and proficiency in inventory management systems.

Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a high-performing team.

In-depth knowledge of the automotive industry and market trends.

Strong understanding of financial metrics and profitability analysis.

Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or related field preferred.
