Join the Snowflake team.Snowflake seeks an experienced Public Sector Counsel – U.S. Federal to support a wide range of complex Federal Government, Department of Defense and Intelligence Community transactional matters in the U.S. You will be joining a growing, world-class legal team, reporting directly to Snowflake’s Senior Director, Associate General Counsel of Legal. This is a high visibility role with ample opportunities for professional growth as our company rapidly scales. This is an in-person role that can be based in Atlanta, GA or McLean, VA. This is not a remote position.RESPONSIBILITIES:

Have extensive knowledge and experience negotiating complex transactional SaaS, Supply Schedule/Framework Agreements, Partner Agreements, PS&T/SOW and other types of agreements that support the company’s government sales cyclesBuild and support Snowflake’s Public Sector – U.S. Federal strategy, compliance and contracting policies and practicesWork well in a fast-paced, dynamic work environmentREQUIREMENTS:

5+ years of U.S. Public Sector transaction experience, preferably a combination of law firm and in-house experience at a high-growth enterprise SaaS company, negotiating various types of SaaS contracts, including government procurement vehiclesExcellent negotiation and drafting skillsFamiliarity with regulatory requirements and export controlExceptional organizational, project management, and prioritization skillsThe ability to think and execute both strategically and tacticallyOutstanding written and oral communications skillsThe ability to work with a wide variety of people, at all levels in the organization, in a fast-paced environmentDemonstrated commitment and alignment with our Snowflake valuesService-oriented, professional and strong integrityA JD degree from a leading schoolBar membership sufficient to practice in-house in the relevant jurisdictionSecurity ClearanceEvery Snowflake employee is expected to follow the company’s confidentiality and security standards for handling sensitive data.
